Swedish director Natanael Ericsson began his journey to directing by making skateboard films and music videos with friends in his hometown of Piteå.
In 2015, at the then-newly-founded new—land, Natanael started working as a Director’s Assistant for the full roster of directors, supporting on global campaigns for companies such as Volvo, H&M and Mercedes-Benz.
In 2017, Natanael began to direct himself, getting off to a strong start with films for Bris, SEB, Adidas, Volvo, Telia and more. In February of 2020 he premiered his first short documentary, ”Ali & Nina", at the Göteborg Film Festival. Recent clients have included Electrolux, Volvo, H&M and Telia.
Natanael has won prestigious awards at Eurobest, Shots, the Swedish Roy Awards to mention a few. Most recently, he won bronze at Cannes 2024 for Telenor and gold in the Swedish Design Awards 2023.
