Biography
Leo Rääf has been making films since the age of seven. Swedish-born and based in Copenhagen, he describes his style as "perfectly undone", attentive to the small details of everyday life, bringing a cinematic eye to fiction and advertising alike.
He shoots on film wherever possible, from commercial work for brands like IKEA and McDonald's to his short films, which have travelled widely on the festival circuit. Among them are ‘Clay’, shot in Iceland, ‘Hiding Behind Masks’, and his latest, ‘Closed Oysters Can't Speak’.
