Nina Holmgren is a Danish director with a unique background that spans fine art, documentaries, and a stint as a champion athlete, a combination that shines through her fearless work. Never afraid of mixing art forms or pushing boundaries, she uses all of the filmmaking tools at her disposal. Nina has a remarkable eye for storytelling with strong aesthetic expression, creating her own heightened surreality. 

Her first short film, “I Want You to Panic”, is an artistic exploration of the indifference towards the climate crisis, and established her as a filmmaker with a sharp eye for aesthetic expression and emotional intent. Since then, Nina’s distinctive style has carried across collaborations with Mercedes-Benz, Adidas, Google, and Vogue.
