Information
Leonard Rääf
Leonard Rääf is a Swedish writer and director based in Copenhagen, working across fiction and advertising with a focus on emotionally driven, narrative filmmaking.
He studied at the International Film School of Paris after beginning his career as a director at an advertising agency in Sweden. After winning Best Nordic Short at the Nordic International Film Festival in New York for his short film Renard Rouge, he has since written and directed several short films, most recently Hiding Behind Masks. Alongside his fiction work, Leonard has directed international campaigns for brands including IKEA and McDonald’s, bringing a cinematic eye to everyday life — a style he describes as “perfectly undone.”
