A New Beginning

Natanael Ericsson is a Swedish director known for a cinematic ambition that is grounded in human connection. He has collaborated with brands including Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, H&M, and Electrolux, delivering work that's as intimate as it is visually distinct — an approach that won him Bronze at Cannes Lions in 2024 for  'Missed Calls', his film for Telenor.

In addition to his commercial work, Natanael is an avid documentary filmmaker. His 2020 short 'Ali & Nina' captured the story of father-daughter team Ali and Nina Boriri and their analogue film lab, Focus Film, the last in Scandinavia. Featuring Academy Award-winning cinematographers Hoyte van Hoytema and Linus Sandgren, the film is a testament to Ericsson’s own devotion to cinematic craft.
