Laerke Herthoni is one of Scandinavia's most celebrated directors and screenwriters, known for a warm humanity that runs through her work. Attuned to family, childhood, and the particular textures of the female experience, she brings that warmth to commercials and narrative film alike.

Building a commercial portfolio across Volvo, Swedbank, and Mercedes-Benz, she became the first woman in history to win Best Director at Sweden's Roygalan. Her short films ‘Alba’ and ‘Surprise’ have screened at festivals including Gothenburg, Palm Springs ShortFest, and São Paulo.
