Moments That Never Happen

Marcus Ibanez is an award-winning director with a background in stills photography and graphic design. After joining new—land as a Director’s Assistant and 2nd Unit Director, he developed his craft working alongside directors such as Gustav Johansson, Niclas Larsson, Sheila Johansson, Jonas Lindstrøm and Jérôme Salle.

Now established as a commercial director, he has created films for brands including Volvo, Adidas and Coca-Cola. In 2022, his film for German supermarket chain PENNY won the Grand Prix for Film Direction at Cannes, alongside awards at D&AD, The One Show and the Clios. More recent work for Volvo and Lufthansa has continued to receive international recognition across Cannes, Ciclope, Eurobest, Shots and the Clios.
