We welcome director Naghmeh Pour to our new talent roaster. Naghmeh was born in Iran and fled the country as a child, living in Turkey for some time before spending her youth in provincial Denmark. She is now based in Copenhagen.

Always drawn to literature and storytelling, she studied English and Scriptwriting at university before going on to become a Director’s Assistant at new—land Copenhagen, learning from some of the industry’s foremost directors. Drawing from inspirations like Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Abbas Kiarostami, Naghmeh’s work is animated by metaphor and symbolic imagery, and driven by a burning desire to evoke emotion and encourage reflection.

Her achievements include multiple awards at Cannes Lions, YDA, D&AD, True Awards and, most recently, a bronze as director of the year at SHOTS awards 2023.
