DirecTore Frandsen thwarts iconic Hollywood moments with three new films for ITV's Volkswagen idents, Electifying Movies.

From a superhero on the cusp of teleporting into a futuristic new world, to a secret agent painstakingly manoeuvring through a maze of lasers, each film plays into the tropes of Hollywood clichés and storytelling.

“I wanted to create a truly cinematic universe that spared absolutely no detail, because without believability, the humour falls apart. From the intricacies of set design to getting the most emotionally intense performance from our actors, our filmic world had to replicate those Hollywood studios - and in only 15 seconds!” — Tore Frandsen.

The films share a climactic build up where the tension is all of a sudden thwarted; someone quite literally pulls the plug on the electricity to charge their Volkswagen, and our comic hero comes crashing back down into reality.
